River Ridge Golf Course

River Ridge,hole by hole.

Every hole of the course from above, in one continuous pass, first tee to last green.

The course

Eighteen holesyou can walkbefore you arrive.

Every hole is here as it is laid out, tee to green, in the order you meet them.

The tour opens on a phone as readily as on a desk, and any single hole can be opened by its own link.

The seventh at River Ridge from the air: a mown fairway running between trees to a green with two bunkers behind it, in low evening light.

The seventh

Low sun,long shadows,the whole approach.

Every figure above is read from the tour manifest at build time, not written by hand.

The tour

Eighteen holes,one at a time.

Eighteen holes, front nine and back nine. Take one, or watch straight through.

Each hole opens in place with its own map and its own clip. Every hole carries a direct link, so one hole can be sent on its own.

How it reads

Open a hole.Everything else waits.

Take a hole from the map or from the list and it opens in place: the clip, the shape of the hole, and the way it sits in the ground around it. Close it and you are back where you were.

Nothing loads a new page, and nothing loses your place.

Around the course

Six holes,out of eighteen.

  • The first at River Ridge from above, a wide mown corridor with bunkers to the left.

    The first

  • The third at River Ridge from above, the green set beyond two bunkers.

    The third

  • The eighth at River Ridge from above, greenside, with sand short and right.

    The eighth

  • The twelfth at River Ridge from above, the fairway running away between trees.

    The twelfth

  • The thirteenth at River Ridge from above, the corridor turning through woodland.

    The thirteenth

  • The sixteenth at River Ridge from above in late light, long shadows across the turf.

    The sixteenth

The eleventh

A short hole, drawn tee to green.

Eleven is a par 3, so there is no fairway between the tee and the green. The corridor is the hole.

The tour draws what the map holds and nothing it does not, which is why this one looks different from the rest.

The eleventh at River Ridge from the air, a short hole across water to a green ringed by trees.

River Ridge

The course,as the ground gave it.

Rendered from public elevation and aerial map data. Nothing flew over the course.
